365 Pics Days 8 and 9: Weekend edition!

Didn't get around to posting a photo yesterday. Saturdays (at least most of the best ones) are pretty busy for me.  First, I went to the zoo for my volunteer shift. I got to help the quarantine tech wrangle ducks, I met a tree kangaroo, and I made enrichment toys for a couple of L'orest monkeys who are off exhibit.


This one was just a plain animal feed bag with the plastic liner cut out. We added some vanilla for a fun scent. We also gave them a closed box with cinnamon sprinkled in it, but they got bored with that one too fast to get any good pics. It was lunchtime and so I think they were a little disappointed to be given things that smelled like food but weren't.

Then there was D&D and hanging out with people afterwards (we watched a couple episodes of the X-files. That brings back memories...) Felt really crummy this morning, so slept in waaay late (even for me).  Todays picture is of my mouse Swicegood. She looks about like I felt!
